ABOUT

I'm Maria Crawford, owner and therapist at M. Crawford Therapy, a fully telehealth counseling practice servicing clients exclusively in Maine. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University (2017) and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Marshall University (2022). I am in progress in a certification in Foundations in Jungian psychology from C.G. Jung Institute of New England.  The foundation of my work is in creating an introspective but compassionate environment where the client-therapist relationship is prioritized first. In a trusting environment, real change can occur. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and specialize in life transitions, relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, and burnout.
